Relief of symptoms of benign prostatic hypertrophy (BPH)

Relief of urination difficulties associated with BPH

160 mg, 2 X/day of a 10:1 standardized liposterolic berry extract containing 85-95% fatty acids and sterols. A minimum treatment time of 30 days is required for therapeutic benefits.

The lipophilic fraction containing fatty acids and sterols is considered the active fraction.

Well-designed clinical studies have established that saw palmetto extracts can provide relief from symptoms of BPH comparable to standard prescription medications. In addition to reducing symptoms of prostate enlargement, saw palmetto extract can alleviate urinary problems such as frequent urination, nocturia, painful urination, urinary tract infections, and bladder and urethral irritation. A minimum treatment time of 30 days is required for the therapeutic benefits to become apparent. Treatment can be continued for years without adverse side effects.
