The Association of Natural Medicine Pharmacists is partnering with the University of Minnesota, College of Pharmacy and the Spirited Medicine Alliance in non-profit efforts to create:
- Pharmacy rotation site in the Amazon rainforests of Peru: working with the indigenous villagers, shamans, local healers; as well as conventional medicine of the areas including a special look at malaria, Dengue Fever, and other tropical infectious diseases.
- Pharmacy rotation site in La Paz, Bolivia; working with Bolivia's premier pharmaceutical company that has expanded into herbal medicines; as well as the indigenous communities that are contracted to grow these herbs and their local shamans and healers.
- Expanding the pharmacy rotation sites above to include medical students, nursing students, and other interdisciplinary departments to bring about a new global medicince.
- Offering continuing education experiences in Peru and Bolivia for pharmacists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals and including all interested adult learners.

The Spirited Medicine Alliance is working with Inquiring Systems, Inc. (ISI) as its fiscal sponsor. Founded in 1978, ISI is a nonprofit 501 (c)(3) corporation that has provided services to 3,250 nonprofit and NGO organizations. Ninety percent of donations go directly to benefit projects.
